Day Pass $15
All Access Pass $30 (Includes admission to the awards ceremony/party at the HiTone!)
Individual Screenings cost $5 at the door except for Sunday which is $10 because we are rescreening grant winners and other noteworthy films... no advance sales for individual screenings...
Arrive early with pass to insure your seat!
Workshops Saturday 8/24, First Congo Fellowship Hall
11am -Mark Street (Brooklyn, NY), Producer and director of the digital feature At Home and Asea, will be giving a workshop on "Autobiography in Film".
1pm -Chikara Motomura (San Fransisco, CA), Co-producer, editor, cinematographer, and sound technician with 9@Night Films/Direct Action Cinema, will be giving a workshop on the philosophy, intentions, and the process of 9@NightFilms/Direct Action Cinema and the Tenderloin Group.
3pm -Randy Cole, Jennifer Drummond, and Kate O'Conner (Austin, TX), Animators from Director Richard Linklater's Waking Life, will be discussing the technical methods, and the co-operative nature of this groundbreaking animated digital film (this workshop will take place directly after a screening of Waking Life in the Congo Theater.
5pm -Ognian Bozikov (Graduate of Memphis College of Art), Director, writer, producer of the fascinating experimantal short digital film Doppelganger will be giving a workshop on creating multilayered digital film using several graphics and NLE programs.
