The movie covers 24 hours in the life of a rookie lawyer and burnt out trial lawyer's first day in the Public Defenders office. A comedy-documentary that takes a different look at the legal system, with an award winning score covering every form of Memphis music.

"The F.E.D.S." (6:20)
Director: Jennifer Drummond, Athens GA
An animated documentary that uncovers the odd occupation of the F.E.D.S. (Food Education Demo Specialists); the colorful, yet somewhat bitter, group that rations grocery store samples daily.

I Swallow Here (14:00)
Director: Ben Siler, Memphis, TN
A young man wakes up with the word "racist" written on his face.

Time Streams (5:30)
Director: Stephanie Maxwell and Allen Schindler
The spiral-like structure and unbroken momentum of this work are somewhat suggestive to its creators of intersecting ribbons of time -- a nexus in which backwards time (eg-, dreams and recollections), parallel temporalities and non-contiguous "time splices" are prominent.

Thomas & Julie have hit a rut in their relationship - will Thomas' new idea get them out of an unlucky proposition?

An unsuspecting buisnessman comes across a button and a sign that reads "do not press".

The hope of love battles fear of rejection during a pivotal moment of choice.

Deals directly with representation and human conflict. This piece facilitates discussion between groups of individuals.



12 - Midnight Abra se los Ojos en el Cielo (Open your eyes to the sky) (58:00)
Director: Kevin Pease and Jason Babin, Memphis, TN
This emotionally driven "silent" film is put to the soundtrack of the band Dredg's 2003 release "El Cielo." Powerul and moving, black and white images follow a boy, his girlfriend, and their priest in search of finding themselves lost in a dismal place.

"Our House" is a documentary dealing with the humor and struggle of three disabled adults with severe behaviors".


7:15pm Aftershock (64:00)
Director: Rakesh Sharma, India
Aftershocks is about the transformation of the welfare state into an instrument of corporate governance. It examines the acquisition/displacement of two quake-affected villages for lignite mining and power generation. It probes the microcosm in the nature of a study "from below" of globalisation of the economy and corporatisation of democracy.
